Privacy and Personal Data Protection Statement
The protection of individuals’ personal data in connection with the processing of such data is one of the fundamental human rights guaranteed by the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, under which everyone has the right to the protection of their personal data.
These principles are further regulated by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, which has applied in all EU Member States, including the Republic of Croatia, since 25 May 2018. This Statement has also been adopted in accordance with the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (Official Gazette No. 42/18).
As a responsible business partner, Brioni d.o.o. has always paid particular attention to the protection of your personal data and takes all necessary measures to protect your privacy as a visitor to our website and a user of our services.

We therefore invite you, as our customers and users of our services, to work with us in ensuring the consistent achievement of this objective in the protection of your personal data.
Brioni d.o.o. will process your personal data only in a lawful manner.
Brioni d.o.o. processes users’ personal data on the following legal bases, in accordance with Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR):
- performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party;
- compliance with legal obligations;
- the data subject’s consent, where processing is based on voluntary consent (e.g. for marketing communications);
- the Company’s legitimate interests, where necessary to protect the rights, property and security of users and systems.
Brioni d.o.o. will not process personal data for purposes other than those specified, nor will it disclose such data to third parties without a legal basis or the consent of the data subject.
Your privacy and personal data are very important to us.
We will use your personal data exclusively within the Company, to comply with our legal obligations, to provide you with the best possible service, or to provide you with information on topics you have requested. We will not disclose your data to third parties outside the Company unless you have given your consent, where this is necessary to provide you with a complete service, or to fully respond to your enquiry.
Brioni d.o.o. is fully committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. This Privacy Statement applies to our handling of data obtained with your consent and when you access the Brioni d.o.o. website, and defines how your personal data is collected and used.
Where consent is required for the processing of your personal data, it may be provided in writing or by clicking the designated option on our website.
Please note that consent is requested only where there is no other legal basis for processing personal data.
Where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (e.g. purchasing a ticket, booking transport or handling a complaint) or for the purposes of the Company’s legitimate interests (e.g. protecting users’ rights), consent is not required.
Consent is used exclusively for marketing and informational activities and may be withdrawn at any time without any adverse consequences for the user.

Brioni d.o.o. will disclose users’ or website visitors’ personal data without prior notice or consent only where required by applicable law or by a legally authorised public authority.
Personal Data Retention Period
The Company retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
Retention periods depend on the purpose and legal basis of processing, and the following rules apply:
