About the city
TROGIR
Trogir is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean and one of Croatia’s most valuable cultural and historical sites. Its historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is characterised by narrow stone streets, squares, palaces and landmarks such as the Cathedral of St. Lawrence and Kamerlengo Fortress. Thanks to its combination of rich history, Mediterranean atmosphere and proximity to the sea, Trogir is a popular destination for both Croatian and international visitors.
In addition to its cultural attractions, Trogir is an excellent starting point for exploring central Dalmatia, the nearby islands and numerous natural attractions. The town is well connected throughout the year by bus routes to Split, Zadar, Šibenik, Zagreb and other Croatian cities, making it an easily accessible destination for both day trips and longer stays.
